The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected, that the weather to remain relatively cold in most parts of the country, and the drop in temperature is marked during the night and early morning, especially in mountainous areas.
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that the sky will be partially covered with clouds in most coastal areas, with a slight possibility of light rain in (the Gulf and coastal areas from Misrata to Sirte), and the chance will be better for scattered rain on Wednesday in the northeastern coastal areas.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Monday, November 25, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy in the areas of Ras Ajdir to Sirte, the Jfara Plain and the Nafusa Mountains, with few clouds increasing in the area extending from Misrata to Sirte, with a slight possibility of light rain.
- Wind: Variable in direction and light in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (16-21°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase today over the Gulf regions and the Benghazi Plain to Emssad, with light rain showers, and the best chance will be on Wednesday for scattered rain showers over the coastal areas.
- Wind: Northeasterly to northerly, moderate in speed, and relatively active over the far coast areas.
- Temperature: Ranges between (16-21 °C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase at times over the regions of Al-Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames and Hamada.
- Winds: Easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (18-23 °C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Light clouds that will increase at times over some areas.
- Wind: Northeasterly, light to moderate.
- Temperature: Ranging between (19-21 °C) expected to decrease in Kufra, -Sarir and Tazirbo.
