The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected a rise in temperature in the northwestern regions, especially the interior regions, while the weather is expected to be moderate with relatively high humidity in the northeastern regions.
The National weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Saturday, August 03, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear with some scattered clouds appearing.
- Wind: Southerly, southeasterly to variable direction, light to moderate speed, gradually turning from tomorrow evening to northerly with active speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (35-42°C) in most areas, and a gradual decrease will be recorded starting tomorrow evening and will be marked on Monday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds, with the possibility of fog appearing late at night and early in the morning over some areas of the coast and the Green Mountain.
- Wind: Northwesterly moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranges in most areas between (30-34°C), with a relatively high humidity factor in coastal areas.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear with some passing clouds appearing.
- Wind: Variable direction, light speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-43°C), and an increase will be recorded tomorrow in some areas.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear with some passing clouds appearing.
- Wind: Northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-40°C).
