The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected Saturday and over the next two days, moderate temperatures in the northern regions with high humidity. However, it is expected to remain high today in southern regions.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Saturday, August 24 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly and occasionally cloudy, which may be accompanied by rain in some areas.
- Wind: Northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (30-35°C), in most areas.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Occasional cloud cover in some areas, which may be accompanied by scattered rain.
- Wind: Northwesterly, moderate speed, may sometimes be active in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (31-35°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Moderate northeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranging between (38-43°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to some clouds.
- Wind: Northeasterly, moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (40-45°C).
