Weather Forecast

The National Meteorological Center (NCM) expected, Saturday, the western regions of Libya to be affected by a desert depression accompanied by southeasterly wind that will lead to an increase in maximum temperature, and the wind will be active this evening and tomorrow, which may cause dust and dirt to be stirred up in most areas.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Saturday, March 01, 2025, as follows:

1.    Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Jafara Plain - Nafusa Mountain (North West of Libya):

- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy. 
- Wind: South to southeasterly, moderate in speed, active this evening and tomorrow in most areas, which could cause dust and dirt to be stirred up.
- Temperature: Expected to range in most areas between (15-20°C), and it is also expected to record a rise tomorrow in most areas and will witness a marked decrease on Monday.

2.    Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, sometimes increasing in the Green Mountain regions.
- Wind: Variable direction to southeasterly, light to moderate speed, active tomorrow in the Gulf regions and Benghazi Plain, causing dust and sand to rise.
- Temperature: Ranges between (18-24 °C), expected to record a slight increase tomorrow.

3.    Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: Southerly to southeasterly, light to moderate speed, active in Ghadames and Hamada, which may cause dust and sand to rise.
- Temperature: Ranging between (23-28°C), reaching (30°C) in Ghadames and recording a rise tomorrow and witnessing a gradual decrease on Monday.

  4.  The Oases - Sarir - Tazerbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy.
- Wind: East to southeast, light to moderate in speed in most areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (20-24°C), recording a slight increase tomorrow.
