The National Center of Meteorology expected, Saturday, clouds to increase in the northern regions, and the opportunity is still available for rain to fall on the coast extending from Misrata to the far eastern coast.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Saturday, November 2, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, increasing from time to time on the coast extending from Misrata to Sirte, with the possibility of rain falling in scattered areas.
- Wind: Variable direction, light speed, turning in the afternoon to easterly, moderate to active speed on coastal areas.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (24-28°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Rainy clouds are still multiplying on the coastal areas and the heights of the Green Mountain and may extend to the interior and are likely to be good on the far eastern coast accompanied by thunderstorms sometimes, causing water to collect in low places
- Wind: North to Northwesterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Range in most areas between (22-25C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds, sometimes multiplying today over Ghadames and Hamada with the possibility of light and scattered rain.
Winds: Variable direction to northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (26-30°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy.
- Wind: Northwesterly, moderate to light speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (25-27°C).
