The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected, Sunday, thunderclouds to continue to increase from time to time in the southeast, especially the border areas, accompanied by good rain, while the weather will remain unchanged in the rest of the country’s regions.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Sunday, August 11, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds, increasing at times over some areas.
- Wind: Northeasterly to variable direction, light to moderate.
- Temperature: Ranges between (31-35°C) with relatively high humidity, especially in coastal areas.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds, increasing tomorrow over some areas of the Green Mountain, with the possibility of fog appearing late at night and early morning over the areas of the Green Mountain.
- Wind: Moderate northwesterly, sometimes active in the evening period over the coastal areas.
- Temperature: Ranges between (30-35°C) with relatively high humidity in coastal areas.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds increasing at times tomorrow, especially Qatrun and its surroundings.
- Wind: Northeasterly to variable in direction, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (38-40°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Rainy thunderstorm clouds that increase from time to time, especially in the border areas, causing some valleys to flow.
- Wind: Northeasterly to variable in direction, speed between light and active wind.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-40°C).
