The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected, temperature to remain relatively low today in most parts of the country, especially in the northeastern regions, with relatively active wind in some southern regions.
The NCM also expected in its daily bulletin that clouds will increase in the northern regions and oases with the possibility of light rain this morning in Jalu, and tomorrow in some coastal areas extending from Khums to Misrata, and the possibility includes some areas of the Green Mountain on Tuesday.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Sunday, February 23, 2025, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Jafara Plain - Nafusa Mountain (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase tomorrow in the areas of Ras Jadir to Sirte, the Jafara Plain and the Nafusa Mountain, especially the areas extending from Khums to Misrata with the possibility of light rain.
- Wind: Southeasterly to easterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Temperature expected to range in most areas between (13-19°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, sometimes increasing with the possibility of light rain on Tuesday in the Green Mountain.
- Wind: Northly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, active in the evening in Benghazi, gradually turning tomorrow to easterly then to southeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (13-18 °C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, increasing today in Al-Jufra.
- Wind: Northeasterly to easterly, moderate to active in speed at times, which may cause dust and sand to be stirred up.
- Temperature: Ranging between (16-21°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazerbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will sometimes increase over the oases, Sarir, Tazerbo and Kufra, especially over the oases, with the possibility of light rain this morning over Jalu.
- Wind: Northeasterly, moderate to active in speed at times over Sarir, Tazerbo and Kufra, which may cause dust and sand to be stirred up.
- Temperature: Ranging between (17-21°C).
