The National Meteorological Center (NMC) expects the temperature to be high today, Sunday, in most regions of the country, while they will decrease starting tomorrow, Monday, in the northwest.
The weather forecast in Libya, for Sunday, 21 July 2024 as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: Moderate to active northwesterly winds in some areas.
-Temperature: Ranges between (34-38°C) in coastal areas, with a high humidity factor, and range between (38-42°C) in the interior, and an increase will be recorded tomorrow, Monday, while it will gradually decline starting tomorrow afternoon in the far western regions, and the decline will be marked on Tuesday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear with few clouds.
- Wind: northwesterly moderate to active speed in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (30-35°C). it will record a slight increase tomorrow, then decline on Tuesday.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: varies in direction from light to moderate northeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (39-43°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear with the appearance of some clouds.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northerly, moderate light speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (40-42°C).
