The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected the weather to remain moderate in most areas of the north, with high relative humidity in coastal areas. Maximum temperature ranges between (30-36°C), while relatively high in the southern regions, recording between (37-42°C).
The weather conditions in Libya, for Sunday, 28 July 2024 as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Light to moderate northeasterly to easterly, active at times in some coastal areas, turning to northwesterly on Tuesday.
-Temperature: Ranges between (29-32°C) in coastal areas, with relatively high humidity, especially in the coast.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds sometimes increase.
- Wind: Northeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk in some coastal areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (30-33°C), and in Ajdabiya it could reach (37°C) with high humidity in coastal areas.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Passing clouds.
- Wind: Easterly to northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (37-42°C) in most areas.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Passing clouds.
- Wind: Northeasterly light to moderate, gradually turning from tomorrow evening to northwesterly.
- Temperature: Ranges between (37-41°C).
