The National Meteorological Center (NCM) expected moderate weather to prevail across most parts of the country, with relatively warm weather today in the northwestern regions. Daytime temperature will range between 24 and 30°C. It is expected to drop tomorrow in most areas and gradually increase from Saturday. Meanwhile, the weather will be relatively cold in the northeastern regions, with daytime temperature ranging between 17 and 23°C. Cloud cover will increase, accompanied by light rain this evening and tomorrow morning, from the Green Mountain to the far eastern coast.
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that western Libya will experience active southerly wind, with a gradual rise in temperature starting Sunday.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Thursday, April 10, 2025, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Jafara Plain - Nafusa Mountain (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds will appear over the areas from Ras Jadir to Sirte, the Jafara Plain, and the Nafusa Mountains, increasing at times tomorrow.
- Wind: Southerly to southwesterly, light to moderate, turning northeasterly tomorrow.
- Temperature: Ranges in most areas between (24- 30°C), decreasing the next day, while gradually increasing from Saturday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds to increase over the Gulf region and the Benghazi Plain to Emssad, especially over the Green Mountain and the far eastern coast, with scattered rain showers expected at night and tomorrow morning.
- Wind: Variable to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (17-23 °C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear over the areas of Jafara, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames, and Hamada.
- Wind: Southeasterly to easterly, moderate in speed, turning light and variable tomorrow.
- Temperature: Ranging between (26-29°C), reaching (33)°C in Ghat.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazerbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds will appear in the areas of the Oases, Sarir, Tazerbo and Kufra.
- Wind: North to northeast, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (23-26°C), an increase is expected tomorrow .
