The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected the weather to remain unchanged Thursday in most regions of the country, as temperature in coastal areas ranges between (29-32°C) with a high humidity, and in the interior regions, it ranges between (34-36), while in the southern regions it ranges between (37- 41°C).
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that temperature will record a gradual increase starting tomorrow in the northwestern regions, and will be marked on Saturday, as it is expected to exceed the mid-thirties in coastal regions and the beginning of the forties in the interior, to decline as of Sunday in the farthest regions of the western coast, and rest of the areas during the evening period.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Thursday, August 01, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some scattered clouds, with the possibility of fog appearing late at night and early in the morning over some coastal areas.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northeasterly, moderate to light speed, turning on Saturday to variable direction, with light easterly wind.
- Temperature: Ranges between (30-32°C) in coastal areas, and in the interior areas between (35-38°C), with an increase in humidity factor in coastal areas. Temperatures will record an increase starting tomorrow and will be marked on Saturday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds.
- Wind: Moderate to active northwesterly to northerly wind.
- Temperature: Ranges in most areas between (28-33°C), with relative high humidity in coastal areas.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Scattered clouds will also appear over the area.
- Wind: Northeasterly, moderate speed, turning tomorrow to variable direction and light-speed in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-41°C), a slight increase will be recorded from Saturday in most areas, especially in Ghadames.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear but with some passing clouds also appear over the area.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northeasterly, between light and moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (39-40°C) and a decline will be recorded tomorrow in the oasis areas.
