The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected Thursday, moderate temperature during the day in the northern regions, with an increase in clouds in some regions of the northwest, interspersed with light rain tomorrow, but the weather will remain hot in the southern regions.
The weather weather conditions in Libya, Thursday, August 22 2024, are as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds increasing from tonight, interspersed with light rain falling tomorrow in some areas from Tripoli to Misrata and the interior.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate speed
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (30-34°C), with an increase of humidity especially in coastal areas.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds, increasing at times, with a slight possibility of light rain falling on some areas of the Green Mountain.
- Wind: Northerly to northwesterly, moderate to brisk at times.
- Temperature: Ranging between (30-35°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Northeasterly, moderate brisk at times.
- Temperature: Ranging between (38-43°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Variable in direction to northeasterly, between light and moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (40-44°C).
