The National Center of Meteorology (NCM), expected Temperature to rise today in the northwestern regions, ranging between (34-39°C), with relative activity of the southwestern winds, and will decline from tomorrow with an increase in clouds in the evening, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms with light rain in some areas, and the chance of rain is better on Saturday in the areas extending from (Al-Khums to Misurata - Tarhuna - Mislata - Bani Walid).
The National Center for Meteorology expected in its daily bulletin that temperature will record a slight rise in the coming two days in the eastern regions, while the weather will remain unchanged in the southern regions.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Thursday, October 03, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase from tomorrow evening over the areas of Ras Ajdir to Sirte, Al-Jafara Plain and the Western Mountain, and may be accompanied by thunderstorms interspersed with light rain. The opportunity will be better on Saturday.
- Wind: Southwesterly, moderate to active in some areas, gradually turning tomorrow to northeasterly, moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (33-38°C). It will record a decline from tomorrow over most areas, and will be marked on Saturday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy over the Gulf areas and Benghazi Plain to Emssad.
- Wind: Variable in direction and light in speed.
- Temperature: Range in most areas between (27-33°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds will appear over the areas of Al-Jafara, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames and Al-Hamada.
- Wind: Variable in direction and light in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (34-38°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds will also appear in the areas of Al Wahat, Al Sarir, Tazerbo and Al Kufra.
- Wind: variable in direction, to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed. - Temperature: Ranging between (31-33°C).
