The National Center of Meteorology (NCM), expected, Thursday, the proliferation of thunderclouds from time to time in some areas (southwest and northwest) accompanied by good rain, which could cause the flow of local valleys, and high temperature in the northwestern regions.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Thursday, September 5, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Thunderclouds multiply in the evening today and tomorrow (some areas of the mountain and Al-Qarayyat - Tarhuna - Maslata - Mizdah - Bin Walid - some areas of the far coast) interspersed with scattered rains that are good to heavy at times, which could cause the flow of some local valleys
- Wind: Southeasterly to southwesterly, moderate in speed, active in the evening in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (36-40°C). Expected to record a slight decline tomorrow.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy on Saturday evening.
- Wind: North to Northwesterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (30-36°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Thunderstorms increase from time to time, especially today in the regions of (Ghat-Al-Barakt-Tahala-Al-Awaynat-Ghadames-Al-Hamada-Al-Jufra-Sabha and its surroundings - South of Al-Qatrun-) with scattered rain, and it is good in some of these regions, which expected to cause some local valleys to flow.
- Wind: Southeasterly to variable direction, with speed between light and moderate, active due to thunderstorms.
- Temperature: Ranging between (38-41°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy, increasing from time to time, especially in border areas - Al -Awaynat Mountains.
- Wind: Northeasterly to Northwesterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-40°C).
