The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected, Tuesday, a chance of good rain in the southeastern regions, and clouds will increase in some northern regions with scattered rain, especially on the Green Mountain, accompanied by thunderstorms.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Tuesday, August 27 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy, sometimes increasing with the possibility of light rain in some areas extending from Khums to Misrata).
- Wind: North to northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (30-33°C) in coastal area, and between (34-38°C) in the interior.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds multiply from time to time with a chance of scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms in the area extending from Benghazi to Derna.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (30-33°C) reaching 37°C in Ajdabiya.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy, sometimes multiplying in Ghadames and Al-Qatrun.
- Wind: Variable in direction to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-40°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Thunder clouds multiply from time to time over the border areas of Al-Uwaynat-Tibesti Mountains and -Al-Sara-Arkanou Mountains, accompanied by good rain, which could cause some valleys to flow. NCM warned the public to be cautious. The opportunity of rain also includes Al-Kufra and its surroundings Wednesday.
- Wind: Variable direction to northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-39°C).
