The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported Tuesday a moderate temperature in most regions of the north, with an increase in humidity, while the weather remained unchanged in regions of the south.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, for Tuesday, 16 July 2024 as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds with light fog appearing during the late night and early morning periods in some areas.
- Wind: northwesterly, to northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
-Temperature: Ranges between (29-33°C) in the coastal areas with high humidity, and between (36-40°C) in the interior and will record a decline tomorrow.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds with light fog appearing during the late night and early morning periods in some areas.
- Wind: Moderate to active northwesterly speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (29-33°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: Southwesterly, light to moderate speed, turning this evening to northerly, northeasterly, moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (41-46°C). It will decline tomorrow in the far southwestern regions.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear.
- Wind: Variable direction, light speed, turning this evening to northwesterly and northeasterly moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (40-43°C) and recording a decline as of this evening.
