The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected the country's regions to witness moderate weather due to influence of a high air pressure that contributes to moderation, especially with regard to maximum temperature, as it ranges in the northern regions between (24-30°C) , while in the central and southern regions it ranges between (32-37°C), with clouds multiplying from time to time in the northeastern regions, especially in the Green Mountain regions to the far east coast.
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin a slight rise in temperature in the northwestern regions on Thursday and Friday as a result of being affected by an extension of a hot-low-pressure system, and they will record a marked decrease starting next Saturday with the possibility of scattered rain.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some scattered clouds will appear in the areas of Ras Ajdir to Sirte, the Jfara Plain and the Western Mountain.
- Wind: Northeasterly to easterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active tomorrow in some coastal areas, turning on Thursday to southeasterly, moderate to active in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (28-33°C), and will record a slight gradual increase Thursday and Friday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds sometimes multiply over the Gulf regions and Benghazi Plain to Emssad, especially the Green Mountain regions and the far east coast.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northeasterly, moderate in speed, sometimes active tomorrow in some coastal areas.
- Temperature: Range in most areas between (24-30°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some passing clouds appear over the region.
- Wind: Northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (31-37°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to some clouds.
- Wind: Northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (30-35°C).
