The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected, Tuesday, a rise in temperature in the northwestern regions, while the chance of thunderstorms remains in some areas of the far south border and the interior of the northwestern.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Thunderstorms multiply from time to time in the areas of the western mountain and its south (Nalut - Zintan - Yafran - Al-Qarayyat - Mazdah) interspersed with good rain in some of these areas, which may cause some local valleys to flow.
- Wind: Southeasterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (34-39°C) and record a rise tomorrow.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partly cloudy.
- Wind: Northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (30-35°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Thunder clouds multiply from time to time in the regions of Ghaddames, Hamada, and Jufra border areas with Niger and Algeria and reach Ghat tomorrow with scattered rains, and it is good in some of these areas, which could cause some local valleys to flow.
- Wind: Southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (38-41°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Thunder clouds are still affecting the border areas with Chad today, especially (Tibesti Mountains) with scattered rain.
- Wind: Northeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (37-41°C).
