The National Center of Meteorology (NCM), expected, Tuesday, a chance for good to heavy rains Tuesday in Al-Jufra, Al-Haruj, Al-Hamada, Al-Shawirf and Al-Qarayat areas, which could cause valleys to flow, and clouds multiply in Al-Khaleej and some areas of the northeast, and some areas of the north-west, interspersed with scattered rain, while temperatures witness a marked moderation in most areas of the north and the areas of Ghadames and Al-Jufra, where they are lower than their seasonal averages.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds multiply today in the areas of Ras Ajdir to Sirte and Al-Jufara Plain and the Nafusa Mountain, interspersed with scattered rains, which are good in Al-Qarayat.
- Wind: Northwesterly, moderate to active in speed at times.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (28-31°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds are increasing today in the Gulf regions and the Benghazi Plain until Emssad, with scattered rain that may be good in the Gulf regions.
- Wind: Northwesterly to westerly, moderate in speed, sometimes active in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (29-33°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: There is still a chance of scattered rains today in Al-Jufra, Sabha, Ghat, Ghadames and Al-Hamada, which will be good to heavy in Al-Hamada, Al-Shawirf, Al-Jufra and Al-Haruj areas, accompanied by thunder cells, which could cause local valleys to flow.
- Wind: Variable in direction to the northeast, with speeds between light and moderate to active due to the thunderclouds.
- Temperature: Ranging between (35-40°C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: The Oases, Sarir, Tazirbo and Kufra regions are witnessing an increase in clouds from time-to-time Tuesday in the Oases regions with the possibility of scattered rain.
- Wind: Northwesterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (36-40°C).
