The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected the northwestern and southern regions to witness relatively moderate temperature today and tomorrow, ranging between (18-24°C), while the weather is relatively cold today in the northeastern regions, ranging between (12-17°C).
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that the southeastern wind will be relatively active tomorrow in some areas extending from the east of Tripoli to the Gulf and the Benghazi Plain and some areas of the interior and southwest, which may cause dust to be stirred up. Starting from Friday, the wind will turn to northwesterly in the northwestern regions, with a decrease in temperature and an increase in clouds, interspersed with scattered rain.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Wednesday, February 12, 2025, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy, increasing on Friday in some areas with the possibility of scattered rain.
- Wind: Southeasterly to southerly, moderate in speed, sometimes active tomorrow in some areas east of Tripoli, which may cause dust and dirt to be stirred up, turning on Friday to northwesterly, moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Temperature expected to range in most areas between (17-22°C), and expected to increase tomorrow and decrease on Friday.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some clouds expected in the Gulf areas and the Benghazi Plain to Emssad, increasing sometimes today in the Green Mountain and the far eastern coast.
- Wind: Northeasterly to easterly, with a speed between light and moderate, turning tomorrow to southeasterly, moderate to active in speed in the Gulf areas and the Benghazi Plain, causing dust and dirt to be stirred up.
- Temperature: Ranges between (12-17 °C), expected to gradually increase starting tomorrow.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: High clouds expected tomorrow in the region.
- Wind: Southeasterly, moderate in speed, and will be active tomorrow in some areas, causing dust and sand to rise.
- Temperature: Ranging between (20-24°C) expected to increase tomorrow.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazerbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to partly cloudy.
- Wind: Northeasterly to easterly, moderate in speed, turning to southeasterly on Friday.
- Temperature: Ranging between (18-20°C) however, expected to increase on Friday.
