The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected Clouds will increase from time to time in some western areas, accompanied by scattered light to moderate rain starting today in the southwestern regions and tomorrow in the northwest, with active wind sometimes in Ghadames, Hamada and some areas of the northwest, which may cause dust storms. Clouds are expected to increase from tomorrow evening in the northeast, accompanied by light rain, and the opportunity will be better starting from Saturday.
The NCM expected in its daily bulletin that temperatures will range between (13-18°C) in the northern areas and between (16-20°C) in the southern regions, reaching (25°C) today in Ghat, and the temperature will record a marked decrease on Friday in the southwestern regions.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Wednesday, January 01, 2025, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
Sky condition: The evening will be partly cloudy, increasing from time to time, with light to moderate rain showers in some areas tomorrow.
- Wind: Moderate to active at times, which may cause dust storms.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (13-18°C).
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase from time to time over the Gulf regions and the Benghazi Plain up to Emssad with light rain showers tomorrow evening.
- Wind: Northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate.
- Temperature: Ranges between (14-18 °C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Partially to completely covered with clouds with the possibility of light to moderate rain.
- Wind: Easterly to southeasterly, moderate to active in speed, causing dust and sand to be stirred up in Ghadames and Hamada.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (17-20 °C) reaching (25°C) in Ghat.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds will increase at times in the area.
- Wind: Easterly to southeasterly, light to moderate in speed.
- Temperature: Ranging between (16-19°C).
