The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected temperature to be moderate in the northern regions, Wednesday, with relatively high humidity, while the weather will remain unchanged in the southern regions.
The NCM issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, for Wednesday, 24 July 2024 as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds, increasing from time to time, with the possibility of light rain falling during the day today on some areas of the coast and the Nafusa Mountain.
- Wind: Moderate northwesterly, and sometimes active.
-Temperature: Ranges between (30-35°C) in most areas, with relatively high humidity, especially in the coast.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds, increasing at times, and scattered rain falling over the area extending from the Gulf to Derna.
- Wind: Northwesterly with active speed in some areas.
- Temperature: Ranging between (28-32°C). It will decrease on Wednesday, especially in the Green Mountain region.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Variable direction to northeasterly, light to moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (37-42°C) in most areas.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Northerly to northwesterly, moderate speed.
- Temperature: Ranges between (39-42°C).
