Libya’s Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad, has held high-level talks with Turkish military officials in Ankara as part of an official visit.
During the visit, Al-Haddad met with Turkey's Chief of General Staff, General Metin Gürak, to discuss strengthening military cooperation under existing bilateral agreements.
Discussions also focused on coordination across various defense sectors.
Al-Haddad later held talks with Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler at the Ministry of Defense, emphasizing the importance of enhanced collaboration between the two nations.
As a symbolic gesture, Al-Haddad laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of modern Turkey.
The visit follows a recent trip by Prime Minister and Defense Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah to Ankara, where he met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss bilateral relations.
