The Libyan embassy in London organized a discussion panel entitled “Libya post 2011” moderated by Tim Eaton, a senior researcher for the Middle East and North Africa Program at Chatham House Research Center.

The embassy hosted a number of postgraduate students at King’s University and the London School of Economics, according to the embassy's statement.

The embassy's staff gave a comprehensive presentation on the sequence of events in Libya and their backgrounds since 2011, as well as the latest developments, including the efforts to reach elections and the role of the United Nations and the international community in this regard.

The discussion included the effects of regional and international interference in Libyan affairs and the repercussions on the security and economic situation in the country, reviewing the efforts made by the Government of National Unity to establish security and stability in Libya leading to elections.
