The Libyan Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Mangoush, has discussed with her Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, the latest Arab and regional developments.

The Media office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Bahraini Foreign Minister received Al-Mangoush upon her arrival in Bahrain on an official visit.

During the meeting, the relations between Libya and Bahrain and ways of development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including diplomatic training, were emphasized. 

The meeting also touched on the latest developments of Arab and regional issues.

The visit comes as part of a tour that the Foreign Minister is making to several countries prior to the Arab summit in Jeddah, with the aim of coordinating and supporting joint Arab efforts and positions towards files and challenges in the Arab and regional environment, especially in Sudan.

The tour is also designed to mobilize Arab support for holding national elections in Libya, and preserving Arab consensus in Support of Libya’s stability, according to the Media Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
