The Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush arrived Wednesday afternoon in Tunisia, at the head of a Libyan government delegation that included the Minister of Transportation, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, in order to follow up on the developments of a number of joint files.

Al-Mangoush's media office said that after she was received by her Tunisian counterpart Ayman Ammar, the two sides held a joint meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the media office, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields to better serve joint interests, in addition to reaffirming continuing political consultation and exchanging views on important regional and international issues.

Al-Mangoush congratulated her Tunisian counterpart on the National Day of Tunisian Diplomacy, which coincided with the 67th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tunisia.

The government delegation plans to continue the tour of the region by visiting Algeria Wednesday evening to hold joint talks with the Algerian side.
