March 30 Movement and Constitution First Movement organized a demonstration at the Tripoli Martyrs Square on Friday, calling for better living conditions and speeding up the formation of a unity government that can work for the benefit of Libyans.

The demonstrators called also for a referendum for the constitution to end the transitional phase and the rivalry among governments and parliaments, stressing the need for unity in Libyan sovereign institutions.

They also criticized UNSMIL Head’s statements of “possible avoidance of referendum and going immediately to elections.”
“Libya brings us together” was the slogan of the demonstration, which attracted the attendance of Libyans from across the country.

National reconciliation, better economic and living conditions, no shutdowns of oil facilities and a lot more were the demands called for in the demonstration.

“We are Libyans who care about the people’s suffering and came here on March 30 to express those feelings of Libyans’ suffering.” The organizers added in their statement.

“We will keep speaking out our demands and rights until they are met with tangible answers. We call on all Libyans to support the movement.” They added.
