Libya's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Al-Mabrouk Milad held talks in Tripoli on Sunday with the Serbian Ambassador to Libya Oliver Botigitca.

According to state news agency LANA, the meeting reviewed the bilateral relations and ways of bolstering them in different areas.

Government sources said Ambassador Botigitca was seeking more information about the two Serbian diplomats Sladjana Stankovic and Jovica Stepic who were killed in the US airstrike that targeted a house in Sabratha on February 19.

The deaths of the two Serbian diplomats have caused tension in relations between Belgrade and Washington.

Belgrade said the two were killed in an explosion according to the results of autopsies conducted in Belgrade and Libya, which show numerous wounds on the bodies, but Washington denied this.
