The Presidential Council member Mohammed Emmari discussed Tuesday with the Minister of Transportation Milad Matouq the procedures for handing the work at Tripoli International Airport and all of its projects to the Ministry.

The meeting discussed the mechanisms for providing sterilization materials needed at Mitiga airport amid the outbreak of coronavirus after resumption of flights.

The meeting also went over different urgent projects for the transportation sector such as building a new passengers' lounge in Misrata airport.

Mitiga airport resumed flights last Sunday after months of suspension due to coronavirus measures and the damage done to its facilities and runways by the shelling and airstrikes of Haftar's forces during their war on Tripoli.
