The Presidential Council (PC) in Libya has renewed its call for leaving oil facilities outside political conflicts in the country.
Mohammed El Sallak, the spokesman for the Head of the PC Fayez Al-Sirraj, said the oil facilities should remain under the oversight of the International-recognized National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG.)
"We are not enemies with any Libyan party and we all aim to fight terrorism, organized crime, foreign mercenaries and illegal immigration." El Sallak indicated.
He also talked about the PC's call for cooperation and unity under the legitimate authorities, saying they are with resolving conflicts with dialogue not with military operations.
"The Head of the PC also reiterates support for paving the way for holding elections based on a valid constitutional foundation." El Sallak added.
He said that Al-Sirraj also backs up holding the Libyan National Conference under the auspices of the UN.
El Sallak said that the PC is also continuing its coop[ration with the Central Bank of Libya to keep economic reforms going on the right track, saying 2019 financial preparations will soon be announced.
