The Foreign Minister of Luxembourg, Jean Asselborn, praised Libnya’s fight against illegal immigration despite the difficult circumstances and lack of resources, according to the Information Office of Illegal Immigration Agency.
Asselborn met with the Chief of the Illegal Immigration Agency, Brigadier Mohamed Beshr, in his visit to the immigration shelter in the Airport Road of Tripoli.
Beshr welcomed all international institutions and bodies that wish to cooperate with the Agency in combating this phenomenon.
The meeting discussed the work of international organizations and the importance of cooperating with the Illegal Immigration Agency.
The delegation of Asselborn was also informed of the standards under which the Agency operates in the shelter.
