The Maltese Ambassador to Libya Charles Saliba has called on all Libyans to put aside their differences and focus on the future of their country.
In a message of congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Ambassador Saliba said it is crucial for all Libyans to recognize that Libya cannot remain in its current stalemate, adding that it is the time for all Libyan stakeholders to reflect and acknowledge that you must move forward together.
“The era of transitional governments should come to an end. Fair and peaceful elections are the only viable solution for the nation.” He stressed.
“I strongly urge everyone to embrace this opportunity for positive change for the benefit of the Libyan people.” He noted, reiterating his country’s commitment to assist Libya in returning to stability.
