The Medical Supply Authority has distributed a new batch of special food for people with food sensitivity.

The authority said it received nine containerships of anti-allergy food during the past few days as part of the Health Ministry's efforts to reduce the burden on food allergy patients.

The Secretary of General Medicines and Food Stores confirmed that the shipment was released after being approved by the Food and Drug Control Center.

He said the authority distributed the allocations of the central region, Fezzan, and Sebha, indicating that their branch in the east will deliver more of the special food batches to the beneficiaries in the eastern region.

The western branch will receive its allocations next Sunday, including the General Hospitals of Tripoli, the University of Tripoli, and Al-Jalaa Children's Hospitals.
