Xi Jinping

President Mohamed al-Menfi of the Presidential Council (PC) held discussions on Wednesday with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

As per the PC media office, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and establishing a strategic partnership.

The two leaders deliberated on reactivating the Libyan-Chinese Joint Committee and reached a consensus on reinstating Chinese enterprises in Libya, subject to an agreed-upon framework through the committee.

President Xi expressed China's support for Libya's sovereignty, unity, and willingness to collaborate across different domains.

Xi also urged for the cessation of all detrimental intervention in Libyan affairs and commended Menfi's efforts in promoting national unity and fostering conducive conditions for elections.
