The Presidential Council's Head, Muhammad Menfi, called, on Wednesday, for a comprehensive meeting consisting of all actors concerned with the Libyan issue to chalk out a plan under the African Union and the United Nations Support Mission in Libya to achieve national reconciliation and implement an electoral process.
Menfi made his remarks during a meeting with the UNSMIL's Head, Abdoulaye Bathily, to discuss the latest political developments in the Libyan landscape.
A statement by the PC head media office said Bathily praised Menfi's efforts in making the national reconciliation project a success, and his continuous cooperation with the UN and countries supporting the stability of Libya, to find a solution to the country's crisis.
The UN envoy said on his Twitter account that his meeting with Menfi touched upon ways to hasten the organization of the elections, as he underscored the importance of dialogue and urged the PC head to use his influence to facilitate communication across the political divide.
