The Meshshiya residents issued a statement denouncing the marginalization policy of the Presidential Council (PC) of the UN-proposed government towards them, giving the PC three days before they take escalated measures.
The statement denounced the "deliberate negligence" of the PC to their issues, saying out of the 500 orders it made last year and the 640 ones this year, not a single one has tackled their issues.
"We have become impatient regarding the right of the IDPs to return to Awayniya, Awmer, and Zawiyat Al-Bagol, where the PC did not provide any services in this regard, but only the GECOL and charities did." The statement reads.
It also called on the PC to immediately contact the Meshashiya Shura and Elders Council and in no more than three coming days before they take the issue too far in response to what they called the negligence of the PC to their problems.
"The PC will be the only one responsible for the consequences of the escalations." The statement concludes.
