The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi discussed with the Chief of General Staff Mohammed Al-Haddad, the Chiefs of Staff of the Specialized Staff, and a number of department directors the joint work plan between the ministry and the General Staff during the coming period. They also stressed the importance of working in a team spirit and cooperation in order to reorganize the military institution and enhance its performance.
The Chiefs of Staff presented detailed reports on the responsibilities assigned to each department, in addition to reviewing the obstacles facing the work, and proposals to overcome these challenges.
Al-Zoubi called for holding more of such meetings periodically, while stressing the formation of a joint working team representing the Specialized Staffs and some of the relevant departments in the army to advance implementation and achieve the desired goals.
In another meeting, Deputy Presidential Council Abdullah Al-Lafi, in his capacity as the Chief Commander of the Libyan Army, discussed Sunday with the Chief of Staff Mohammed Al-Haddad and his assistant Salah Al-Namroush the security and military conditions in the western region.
The two sides discussed ways to join efforts to organize the work of all military units and sectors and maintain the security and stability of the country. Al-Lafi stressed the importance of adhering to accuracy and consistency, as this has an impact on the organization and proper conduct of work.
