Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush, discussed support for diplomatic missions abroad in talks with Minister of Finance Khaled Al-Mabrouk.

The meeting, which included experts from both sides, discussed joint action and means to strengthen cooperation between the two ministries.

On July 13, the Ministry of Finance called on the financial controllers of Libyan embassies and consulates abroad to send a detailed financial statement no later than July 30.

The Ministry of Finance's letter noted that starting from July 30, it will adopt new criteria that prevent financial controllers from disbursing deposits without obtaining a written approval issued by the Ministry of Finance.

It cautioned that anyone who commits a violation would expose himself to disciplinary and prosecution.
