The Director of the Public Relations and Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Justice discussed on Thursday with the EU delegation in Libya "EUBAM" cooperation projects and programs for supporting key areas including, the criminal justice sector.

Discussions came during a meeting held at the ministry's HQ in Tripoli, with the participation of several bodies and entities targeted for support and cooperation programs, including the Higher Judicial Institute, the Judicial Expertise and Research Centre, the Public Advocacy Department, the Law Department, and the Women Support and Empowerment Unit at the ministry.

The meeting identified the projects to be implemented, the established timelines, and the mechanism for their implementation.

However, the ministry did confirm that the covid-19 remains a challenge for moving forward with the programs, noting that activities may be held remotely or by direct attendance, according to the developing pandemic situation and restrictions took in this regard.
