Three ISIS terrorists launched a suicide attack on courts complex in Misrata on Wednesday, killing 4 people and wounding more than 40 others.

The Supreme Judicial Council condemned in a statement the attack and stressed that such threats will not discourage them from continuing their investigations and trials.

The Grand Mufti, Sheikh Al-Sadiq Al-Gharyani, expressed deep sorrow over the terrorist attack and extended condolences to the families of the victims. He said during his weekly program on Tanasuh TV that the attack was in retaliation for the city’s role in eradicating the terror group from Sirte.

Misrata Council of Elders deplored the attack and urged security forces to exercise caution while protecting all gates of the city.

The Special Deterrence Force in Tripoli condemned the attack and called all Libyans to unite against this terror group.

The Presidential Council issued a statement to condemn the attack and confirmed that such terror attack will only increase the Libyan people’s determination to fight terrorism.

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya also condemned the attack and stated that indiscriminate attacks against civilians, including employees of the judicial institutions, are violations of human rights and international humanitarian law and cannot be justified.
