The member of Tobruk parliament, Mohammed Al-Raeid was set free Saturday afternoon after being abducted since last Wednesday by an armed group in Tobruk city.

Al-Raeid explained that the efforts of a number of tribesmen from Tobruk helped in his release from the armed group that demanded swap of jailed relatives in Misrata with him, but failed to have it granted.

MP Mohammed Al-Raeid was abducted in Tobruk last Wednesday one day after he rejoined the House of Representatives after one and a half years of boycotting.
