Officials from the city of Gharyan called on all Libyans and military forces to unite against Haftar's agenda of militarizing the state, stressing that Libya will only be a democratic civilian state and there is no way back to the dictatorship era.

This came in a statement signed by members of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the High Council of State (HCS) of the city of Gharyan, in addition to the city's Mayor.

The officials reaffirmed their rejection to any cease fire agreement before the aggressor forces pull back to their HQ in Al-Rajma, east of Benghazi.

They also demanded the Presidential Council (PC), the HoR, and the HCS to save the city of Gharyan from Haftar's forces who have run wild in the city, according to the statement.
