The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has mourned two Libyan youths who died in a traffic accident while collecting donations for the Palestinian people as part of the "Palestine Convoys is Our Cause" campaign.
The two young men, Ahmed Hammad and Mohamed Al-Harari, were killed in a traffic accident in the city of Zawiya, and two other people suffered severe burns as a result of the fire in the car they were traveling in.
In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered its deepest condolences to the Libyan president, government, and people for this tragedy, and to the families of the deceased, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Ministry noted that its ambassador to Libya, Mohamed Rahal, the embassy staff, and members of the Palestinian community residing in Libya participated in the funeral ceremony with the families of the victims and the injured.
