The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the parallel government, Abdullah Erhuma, announced the features of the plan to start training for 26,000 young Libyans in local and overseas centers to obtain suitable job opportunities in various professions and specializations.

This came during his speech, Saturday, at the first conference organized by the Egyptian Homeland Defenders Party under the title "Jobs and Skills of the Future".

This conference comes in line with the World Youth Skills Day declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014, which is celebrated on July 15 of each year.

Erhuma noted during his speech in the context of training and rehabilitating young people, especially job seekers, that in this regard, the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation launched the "Creating a Libyan Cadre" initiative, which aims to train about 25,000 job seekers domestically and train a thousand job seekers abroad in various professions and specializations.

The Minister revealed a five-year strategic plan that is scheduled to be received in an official ceremony on Monday and Tuesday in Jordan, where the plan was implemented in cooperation between Libyan experts and a committee of Jordanian consultants, which includes many files, the most important of which is the training and employment file.

The Minister referred to the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the ministry and the Egyptian Workers Complex, indicating that it has entered into force, as training batches of young job seekers will be launched in the Egyptian Workers Complex in various specializations that provide them with real work in the Libyan labor market.
