The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, has stressed that addressing the problems of the displaced is among the priorities of the government, including the city of Murzuq, and that he is working continuously to meet with all parties in the city, and to form a ministerial committee to study the situation in the city.

This came during his meeting, on Wednesday, with a number of notables from the city of Murzuq, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Ramadan Abu Jnah, and the Ministers of Finance and State for Cabinet Affairs.

Dbeibah also confirmed during the meeting the formation of a security committee to prepare security forces to control security in the city. 

In turn, the notables stressed that the situation in the city is bad and needs a serious stand by the government, pointing out that the deployment of security forces from outside the city in Murzuq is a successful step.

For his part, the Deputy Prime Minister, Ramadan Abu Jnah indicated that the visit of the GNU to the city of Murzuq came to find out its problems, stressing that steps will be taken on the ground to establish security in the city in the coming days.
