Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah has mourned the passing of Sheikh Mohammed Al-Barghouthi, the former head of the Warfalla Social Council, who died on Tuesday.
Dbeibah shared on his X account his condolences, stating, "We extend our sympathies to ourselves, the honourable family, the Warfalla tribes, and all of Libya, and we pray to God to grant us and their patience and solace."
Dbeibah also reposted an image from June 13th, recounting his visit to Al-Barghouthi at the hospital. He described the former council head as "one of Libya's men whose life is rich with knowledge, peace, and reconciliation."
The Warfalla Social Council mourned Sheikh Mohammed Al-Barghouthi on Tuesday, describing his death as a tragedy and extended condolences to the Sheikh's family, the Warfalla tribes, and the Libyan people.
Al-Barghouthi was a member of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum that selected the Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity in Geneva in February 2021.
