The Head of Khalifa Haftar forces' delegation at the 5+5 Joint Military Commission (JMC), Emraje Al-Ammami, said news about reopening the coastal road between Sirte and Misrata isn't true, saying the JMC is the one that decides such matters, vowing to give further details on the date of reopening the road.

Al-Ammami said on a Haftar son's TV channel that the JMC will hold a meeting Monday in Sirte to agree on reopening the coastal road, while the commander of Western Sirte Operations Room, Ahmed Salim, also told the channel that the reopening was announced unilaterally by Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for Sirte-Jufra Operations Room, Abdelhadi Drah, said the coastal road would be reopened from their side awaiting the other side's agreement at the JMC meeting on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah attanded Sunday the reopening of the coastal road between Sirte and Misrata and called on all Libyans to leave their differences and grudges behind and unify in the efforts to achieve stability.
