Protesters in El Feel Field in Libya's south have prevented Tobruk Parliament rapporteur Saleh Qilmah from boarding his plane to Tobruk over a set of demands.

The protesters including military personnel and civilians demanded ammunition and maintenance to Murzuq's hospital and supply it with medicines and medical equipment in order to set the plane free. They also requested inauguration of weekly flights from the airstrip of El Feel field to the eastern city of Tobruk.

El Feel (Elephant), is an oil field located onshore in Libya's Murzuq Basin, 200 km to the southwest of Sabha. It's a joint venture between Italy's ENI and the National Oil Corporation of Libya with a production of around 58.000 bpd.

The field along with El Sharara are still closed due to a pipeline blockage in Al-Ryayna region by militias from Zintan, who are demanding that guards of El Sharara from Misrata leave the field.
