French website, Africa Intelligence, said Daniel Hoffman, the Washington lobbyist of the former Libyan Interior Minister, Fathi Bashagha, has published a broadside against the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir.

Africa Intelligence said Hoffman accused Al-Kabir and his allies of undermining Libyan economy and funding militias as well as of working against the unification of Central Bank of Libya between west and east of the country.

It added that Al-Kabir and the Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah have a very solid relationship, saying Hoffman published a critique of Al-Kabir on Washington Times and wanted to sell it to the local public opinion as if it was published by the Washington Post, aiming to disrupt the "success of the unity government and its relationship with the Central Bank."

"The results of Bashagha's lobbying contract, worth 50.000 dollars, with BGR Group, have started to come to the surface." The report added.
