The General Directorate of Military Police has announced the evacuation of a residential building, shops, and warehouses within the fence of Mitiga Airbase, as military assets, based on an evacuation order issued by the Tripoli District Military Prosecution.

The Directorate explained on its Facebook page that it had evacuated a residential building, 45 shops, and eight warehouses within the base's perimeter fence.

It noted that the notification and evacuation order was implemented with complete professionalism after informing the families, who had been occupying the site for five months.

It added that the force that carried out the eviction included a female member of the military police to deal with the female occupants.

It emphasized that it is a tool for enforcing the law and rulings issued by the competent authorities with complete professionalism, serving the nation and its citizens, and acting as a deterrent to violators or those who encroach on state property.
